Standing in front of the gleaming, milky moon-
I wish for loving limbs to coil and clench my palace
of skin and bones like an anaconda
Constricting these lonely airways.
I do not need to breathe now.
Lungs so filled with lust
I'm coughing out orgasms like shooting stars.
Sweat pours from our bodies like ocean tides,
making waves and sinking ships.
You bow down on your knees to pray-
and you dive into me.
Fully immersed-
you swim within my veins.
The bittersweet autumn wind
entangles our collapsing cadavers
like city smashing tornadoes-
Making even the deepest of roots quiver.
We fall onto the lawn-
grasping our grassy sheets
as if we were each other's saving grace;
rescuing our hearts from that faithful fall.
Like treetops our heads were held-
So proud of what we had accomplished.
Heavy hearts pulsating, throbbing
Pounding against our wind-whipped chests.
As I lay beneath the gleaming milky moon
I wish for you-
only for you.
I wish for loving limbs to coil and clench my palace
of skin and bones like an anaconda
Constricting these lonely airways.
I do not need to breathe now.
Lungs so filled with lust
I'm coughing out orgasms like shooting stars.
Sweat pours from our bodies like ocean tides,
making waves and sinking ships.
You bow down on your knees to pray-
and you dive into me.
Fully immersed-
you swim within my veins.
The bittersweet autumn wind
entangles our collapsing cadavers
like city smashing tornadoes-
Making even the deepest of roots quiver.

Like treetops our heads were held-
So proud of what we had accomplished.

Pounding against our wind-whipped chests.
As I lay beneath the gleaming milky moon
I wish for you-
only for you.
